Masjid Negara IKN Belum Selesai, Salat Id di IKN Tahun Ini Tidak Akan Dilaksanakan

Salat Idul Fitri 2025 at Masjid Negara IKN (National Mosque of IKN) has been cancelled due to ongoing construction work at the mosque.

Reasons for Cancellation:

• Technical and Accessibility Factors: The decision was made considering the technical aspects and incomplete accessibility of the mosque, which is still under construction.

• Construction Progress: The National Mosque of IKN is currently at a high-risk construction phase, especially concerning the roof structure and minarets, with only 54.3% of the construction completed.

• Road Accessibility: The road leading to the mosque is also cited as a challenge, requiring improvements to facilitate the movement of visitors and worshippers. Ensuring the safety and comfort of the congregation is a priority.

The announcement was made by Troy Pantouw, Special Staff for the Head of IKN Authority in the field of Public Communication, as reported by detikKalimantan on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
